Revised layout...but what do i call it????

This is the revisied layout for the main 'newspaper book' celebrating the newspaper/ the history of!

Two Issues to over come at the mo...

1. I wanted the back page bright red glossy to represent the modern world of blogging but this is virtually impossible. So do i design an insert done seperatly and slip it in the back??

2. What do i call the newspaper? I need a name that will represent the 'newspaper book', but as i'm no good with words i'm struggling! Help!!

The next three weeks are going to be spent designing it.

hey charlie! Tricky issue to overcome-blogging as you said is difficult to visualise, i guess it could only be represented through the typography you use? and the layout-it doesnt have the same rigid guidelines as a newspaper article. If you did design an insert what would it have in it? i like the idea of having it glossy and a bright colour as this is very modern but dont know if that would come across? Maybe the last page could simply have your blog adress to symbolise the progression from print to web- am i waffling now? sorry! As for the title...erm..

Yeh I was thinking along the same lines... or OLD NEWS!

Thats a great help Rachel, yeh changing the layout of the back page to represent a blog/website etc would be subtle but nice! Will have a play about with it and see! Thanks x

what about something like 'The Pre Post Press" or something - playing on what happens before - pre, and after - post, you read a newspaper?

maybe that v silly - just throwing a few words on the pile... xxxx
